Checked out of our London hotel before the sun came up. Rolled our luggage down the block to meet our tour group at the Royal National Hotel. Weighed our bags and packed onto the coach. Headed to the docks near the White Cliffs of Dover. Took a 90-minute ferry to France. Drove through Belgium until we reached the Netherlands. Played a speed dating game during the drive to get to know our fellow travelers.

Reached Amsterdam - best known for marijuana coffee shops and legalized prostitution. Also known for the Dutch Masters, Rembrandt, Van Gough, Anne Frank and Heineken. Checked into our hotel - the Blue Square Amsterdam. The rooms were small but they were clean and the beds were very comfortable despite only being twin size. The bathroom was also nice and spacious.

Headed out for our evening canal cruise after our included dinner at the hotel.

The next day we started our morning at the "Iamsterdam" sign for some photos then went to the Rijks Museum (pictured behind the sign).

Also checked out the Van Gough Museum.

Rembrandt at the Rijks Museum.

Caught the tram back to Central.

Walked around a bit. One thing I learned in Amsterdam: the red brick path means it's a bike lane. BEWARE, THEY SHOW NO MERCY...

Ate some Dutch Pancakes before we left the city.
